Diamond Entertainment is a Toronto-based company that produces high quality stage shows, special events and musical performances.

Spear-headed by John Dimon, Diamond Entertainment has received international recognition, including a coveted Emmy Award, for the quality of production.

Diamond Entertainment’s goal is to produce live entertainment promoting the performing arts and encouraging the appreciation of music and dance. Our primary objective is to maintain a high standard of entertainment value in order to present music-based productions that are enjoyable and attractive to audiences.


John Dimon has had a successful and rewarding career in show business both in the realm of television and producing live entertainment for theatres, festivals and corporate events.

Dimon’s entry in the world of entertainment started with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation during the “Golden Years” of television which enabled him to work alongside some of the world’s most acclaimed performers, writers and production talent. For the CBC he supervised hundreds of network programs including variety, drama and independent film productions. During his 25-year stint with the Corporation he acted in the capacity of Area Head of Television Variety, Senior Program Advisor for Independent Productions and Director Program Production for TV Drama.

Mr. Dimon’s production credits have graced numerous television shows including such Canadian series as Wayne and Shuster, Tommy Hunter, Anne Murray Specials, Take 30, Front Page Challenge, This Is The Law and on major award shows including the Gemini, ACTRA and Juno Awards. Dimon has been involved in production and administering international co-productions in association with such notable producers as Jim Henson, David Suskind, Dan Curtis, Jackie Cooper, Lorne Michaels among others.

Several shows, which Dimon played a major role, have received international acclaim and recognition. As Canadian Producer he was the recipient of the International Emmy Award for Best Children’s Television Series for Fraggle Rock. As Executive Producer of Strawberry Ice he received the San Francisco Film Festival Award for Best Television Program and the show was also honoured with eight “ANIK” craft Awards.

For eleven years Dimon published Music World Magazine a quarterly publication about past and present music entrainment. He encouraged young performing talent producing such competitions as Stars of Tomorrow, The Toronto 200 Song Competition, and the Kids Go HoJo Talent Search. Dimon has also been an adjudicator for talent competitions for the City of Toronto, Howard Johnson and the annual cross-country talent searches conducted by Showcase of America

John Dimon now offers professional entertainment through his Toronto-based company Diamond Entertainment Inc., an independent corporation he founded in 1994. One of the notable annual events created by him is Evening to Remember Music Galas for the Toronto Musician’s Association and the creation-design of the annual Toronto Musician Award. Diamond Entertainment’s stage shows, concerts and musicals appear in theatres throughout southern Ontario and include such popular shows as Bandstand–Salute to Sinatra, Kings of Swing Big Band Show, Fabulous Crooners, Stardust Follies, Unforgettable…Brothers of Song, Benny Meets Artie, Carnegie Hall 1938, Songbirds of Swing and others.

ANNE DIMON (Associate Producer-Production Design)


Anne began her love affair with musical theatre in high school where she sang, danced and acted in a number of musicals including Finian’s Rainbow and West Side Story. Over the last 30 years she has worked in areas closely linked to the field of entertainment: Her media experience includes stints in radio as a DJ, then television, both creatively behind the scenes and in front of the camera. She was on-air Promotion Manager at CITY-TV in the gutsy station’s early years and then later moved to CTV. After broadcasting, she moved into public relations where she worked for a number of years prior to launching her own PR consulting firm. Today, she is a full-time, professional travel writer/photographer and columnist contributing to the Toronto Star and other daily newspapers as well as magazines in Canada and the U.S. Anne is president of Travel to Wellness Inc. and editor of traveltowellness.com.

CORRINE DIMON (Production Manager)


A graduate of the Toronto School for the Performing Arts, Cory Dimon has been active in theatre since the early 1980s. She has performed on stage at the Limelight Dinner Theatre, Tarragon Main Stage, Stage West, Young People’s Theatre, Bathurst Street Theatre, CNE Grandstand as well as showplaces in USA.. She has appeared in many TV shows, feature films and in commercials, both radio and television. She founded the Actor’s Den for aspiring actors and later launched her own Talent Networks. Cory has been involved in producing numerous special events; stage shows (including the Kings of Swing Big Band Show) and is active in personal artist management. She is currently producing an original stage show Legendales and putting the finishing touches on her first country music CD entitled Buck Fever.

JANICE LAMBERT (Choreographer-Dance Captain-Dancer)


Janice fell in love with performing at an early age and has since been wowing audiences with her energetic and dynamic style. Janice started as a step dancer and, within a few years, gained the title of Junior Dance Champion. She went on to win medals in Ottawa Valley and Traditional Irish dance and has performed with artists such as Ashley MacIsaac. A graduate of the Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts, Janice now displays qualities of a triple threat performer. It was there that she played the lead role in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Janice has since gone on to such roles as ‘Texas’ in the musical Cabaret and is principle dancer and choreographer of Minerva the folk opera. Janice is a member of the Pulse Entertainment Dance Company and has toured with them.
